Ted D. Turnbaugh graduated from University of Maryland College Park Campus with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Public Health. Ted started his insurance career in 1991 with New York Life/Nylife Securites focusing on Insurance and asset accumulation for individuals and corporations. He realized early his passion was the Health Insurance Sector and created a company to fit that need. In 1997 Ted started HealthQuote Insurance Services with a vision to provide outstanding Health Insurance and benefits for companies and individuals. Besides outstanding client care Ted has been an advocate of Health Insurance Reform participating through the years in various focus groups, and working with legislator’s to help ensure that both accessible and affordable Health Insurance will still be available. Ted is sought after as an industry expert, and he conducts continual education courses for the financial sector.

On a daily basis Ted has been deemed the “Medicare Guru” and uses his expertise and his knowledge to assist those entering (or shopping) the Medicare market.  He enjoys educating the clients first and foremost. His approach streamlines this process to make it easier to understand and his clients are most appreciative.

On a personal noted, Ted is a long term resident of Harford County, where he resides with his wife of 28 years and 2 daughters on their family farm.  Ted enjoys biking and water sports to unwind when his busy schedule permits.
